• Zimbabwe

I will support Power to Girls as an unapologetic and bold feminist and ambassador for the child marriage movement. I will support the growing movement of girls who are brave, who open their hearts, their wounds and tell us their stories…. "I was raped, I was married at 12, then I was abandoned. I married again at 15, the twins died. I’m now in my third marriage." They are daring to speak out. We need resources to support them. This campaign is an opportunity for us to connect emotionally, conceptually and politically, for women’s rights.

I aim to see our government take action in protecting the rights of girls and women so that they can fulfil their dreams and aspirations.

• Pakistan

I commit to work for SHRH and EFM and break the taboo so girls can have access to education.

• Kenya

I commit to build capacity of adolescent girls and continue to fight for adolescent girls to reduce injustices and violation of rights. Today we fight alongside girls.

• Inde

For the next three years we will work with over 100,000 girls and at least 85 % will transition into secondary education and will not be child brides. Our commitment is to take what we’re doing to scale, as we must do more at scale.

Our Power to Girls commitment is to work with girls in vulnerable contexts and ensure they have access to tools that enable them to build their own projects in life. We have seen the importance of working with them to envision what they dream of, what they want, and work with them to ensure that they have the tools to make this happen. Girls must be able to dream of their possibilities and not be affected by VAWG. Give visibility to the problem.

I commit that I will continue mentoring young girls and providing psychosocial support to those in need of guidance and counselling services as they work towards realizing their full potential.

I also commit to be a constant inspiration for young people as I encourage them to stay in school and complete their education.

I commit that I will work to empower girls and create an ecosystem of equality to empower their voices.

• Bénin

My commitment to Power to Girls is before 2021 ends I will start a movement called PM 30 (Positive Masculinities 2030). Its goal is to mobilise, engage and work with boys and men to build a world that is fair and gender just. We will name and transform gendered social norms and advance gender equality. We will educate adolescent boys and young men around sexual consent, sexual violence, menstrual hygiene and transformative gender justice.
