Developed by Stakeholder Forum and CIVICUS, in partnership with UNDESA, this toolkit aims to help organisations get their messages across when talking about the post-2015 development agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The toolkit provides advice and guidance on how to target your messages for broadcast, press and social media; identify and build relationships with journalists; conduct interviews and hold press conferences, in order to deliver your advocacy messages to a wider audience. It also includes a section on jargon to avoid and tips on how to deal with a crisis.
This toolkit will be useful to those working on post-2015 as well as anyone who wants general tips on how to effectively engage media.
