This report looks at the important role birth registration has in providing girls and officials with indisputable proof of age when it comes to marriage. Drawing on case studies from Indonesia and Jordan, the report provides recommendations of how to remove barriers for birth and marriage registration, which in turn helps to enforce minimum age of marriage laws.
